Gabriele Gmeiner : an artisan who still makes shoes from A to Z by hand. Gabriele came from Austria fifteen years ago to live in Venice, after studying in London and Paris and since 2003 she has been creating bespoke luxury shoes for her clients. Based in Campiello del Sol, Gabriele takes up to 80 hours to make a pair of shoes. "They must fit perfectly, like a pair of gloves" A pair of shoes cost from £2500 up to £5000.
