One family story
While I was in Nepal I was hosted by this lovely family in Gorkha. Sukmaya and her family have to fled their village after the earthquake in 2015 and find a new home in Gorkha, she works for the NGO WHR (women for Human right) but her husband couldn't find a job good enough to be able to support the girls at school. So he was going to leave his family to go working in Indonesia for the next three years, to be able to support his family. I spent a few days with the Gurung family and it was a pleasure to share this time with them.
